Off-Piste Skiing Skills Day in Engelberg
Are you confident skiing red and black slopes and ready to take the next step beyond the marked runs? Join us in Engelberg for a full day dedicated to developing your off-piste skills.
You’ll explore freeride terrain while building the technique, confidence and mountain awareness needed to ski safely outside the pistes. This experience is designed for strong resort skiers who want to unlock a whole new side of the mountains under expert guidance.
This trip is led by Dan Moore, international mountain guide.
Meet Dan at 09:00 at the Engelberg Titlis station, ready to go with your full equipment and a valid ski pass for the day.
After a short introduction and safety briefing, you’ll head to the ski lift and spend the day skiing off-piste, choosing routes based on conditions, group level and objectives. Based on conditions and ski level, we might even get to do one or two of the "Big 5", five legendary freeride routes in Engelberg.
Objectives of the day:
- Improve your off-piste skiing technique in variable snow
- Develop better confidence and flow outside marked runs
- Learn about terrain assessment and safe route choice
- Refresh avalanche awareness
- Enjoy a full day of guided freeride skiing with gorgeous views
