Guided Snowshoeing Day Hike at the foot of Brisen (Nidwalden)
Join this end of the season guided snowshoe hike in the Nidwalden Alps, with amazing views of Lake Lucerne. Long ascent but well worth it!
This trip is led by Tatjana Probst, mountain leader.
Meet Tatjana at Niederrickenbach (Talstation) at 09:30. After comfortably covering the first meters of elevation by cable car, we start our snowshoe hike in Niederrickenbach at 1150 meters above sea level. From there, we climb towards Brisenhaus, at the foot of Brisen mountain. At Brisenhaus, the ascent is almost complete, and we have earned some refreshments before continuing across white slopes and past mountain forests to Klewenalp. From there, we take the cable car down to Beckenried, by Lake Lucerne, where you can catch a bus back home. It is a longer tour, but the effort is well worth it!
