Full Moon Hike & Raclette Under the Stars
Leave the week behind and join us for a magical Friday evening hike under the full moon!
As the sun sets, we will make our way through the mountains, enjoying spectacular views of the Grosser and Kleiner Mythen and the beautiful panorama of the Central Switzerland Alps. With the landscape slowly disappearing into the night and the full moon lighting our way, this is a hike you won’t forget!
And the best part? Because every good hike deserves good food, we will finish the evening with a delicious raclette under the stars!
This trip is led by Celine Kahn, International Mountain Leader.
We meet at 18:15 at the Brunni SZ, Rest. Brunni bus stop. After a short briefing, we’ll distribute the food and cooking equipment among the group before setting off on our hike.
We start with a beautiful, gentle climb through the forest, gradually making our way up to Müsliegg at 1427 m. From there, the trail continues uphill, but the forest begins to open up, revealing beautiful views across the surrounding mountains. As we reach the ridge towards Furggelenstock, the panorama becomes even more spectacular.
At 1656 m, we’ll reach the highest point of our hike and take some time to admire the breathtaking scenery illuminated by the moon. Then it’s time for the highlight of the evening: a delicious raclette enjoyed under the stars before we make our way back down to the valley.
For those coming by public transport, there will be a shuttle back to Einsiedeln train station after the hike, so you can enjoy the evening without worrying about the last connection.

T3 hike - 9.5 km - 600m ascent - 600m descent (loop)
If you are traveling from Zurich by public transport, we recommend the following connection:
- Zurich HB 17:12 - 18:16 Brunni SZ, Rest. Brunni (via Wädenswil and Einsiedeln)
- A shuttle can take you from Brunni SZ to Einsiedeln train station, where you can catch the 23:24 or 23:59 train to Zurich.
If you are traveling by car, you can park at Brunni SZ, Rest. Brunni. There is a public parking lot near the bus stop.

The price for this event is CHF 100, or CHF 110 with a shuttle to Einsiedeln train station after the hike.

Insurance
It is the participant's responsibility to get health and accident insurance that cover mountain rescue, including extreme sports. Becoming a Rega patron is highly recommended.
